Shipping

Every work is prepared and packed by hand, in Turin, with the care it deserves. We want it to reach you exactly as it left the studio.

1. Preparation and shipping times

Works are prepared and shipped within about 5–10 working days of the order. Originals and large pieces may need a few extra days for custom packing — if so, we’ll let you know. Prints and multiples usually ship sooner.

2. Packaging

Each piece is protected individually: originals on canvas with corner guards, bubble wrap and a reinforced box (a custom crate for larger formats); prints and works on paper in a rigid tube or flat between cardboard sheets. Nothing travels unprotected.

3. Carrier and tracking

We ship with a tracked courier. When your order leaves, you’ll receive the tracking number by email to follow the parcel to your door.

4. Shipping within Italy and worldwide

We ship across Italy and worldwide. The cost depends on destination, size and weight of the work: it is shown before you complete the purchase or, for larger pieces, communicated and agreed before shipping.

5. Insurance

Works are insured for their value while in transit. Should a parcel arrive damaged, keep the packaging and write to us right away with a few photos: we’ll sort it out.

6. Customs and duties (outside the European Union)

For shipments outside the EU, any duties, taxes or customs charges are the recipient’s responsibility, according to the rules of the destination country.

7. Pick-up in Turin

If you’re nearby, you can collect the work in person at Atelier Zakamoto, by appointment. Write to us to arrange a day and time.
